Nautilus Yacht Management is proud to present to market this Leopard 46, now available in Fiji.

Without a doubt Calista is by the best example of the Leopard 46 we have had the pleasure to offer for sale over a decade of specialising in international cruising yacht. Admirably refined from her original design, with dozens of improvements to her original factory fit-out to further enhance comfort as a live aboard ocean voyager, as well as ease of handling solo or short handed, this remarkable Leopard 46 is truly exceptional.

Calista is also the only Leopard catamaran on the market with boom furling mainsail, for easy reefing and unlimited choices of sail area.

All the lines are run to the cockpit, with additional clutches added to the original deck hardware to increase safety during sail handling.

Her helm station is fully enclosed for weather protection, and her large cockpit is fitted with drop down covers for shade and comfort. Another are improvement to the design is the addition of quality and durable Flexiteak to the cockpit and side / aft steps, for a more luxurious and modern look.

Calista's interior is beautifully presented and was also professionally modified to increase storage for everything you need as live aboard. Instead of the settee / couch normally found in the master cabin, and which cruisers generally report that it serves no purpose except gather clutter, fitted cupboards were installed and preserve the desk / vanity area.

Calista has all of the modern comfort of a mini Superyacht, with air conditioning, watermaker, ice-maker, large cold storage capacity, washer/dryer, Starlink, lithium batteries, generator, huge solar power and shore power adaptable to any voltage in the world.

Calista was recently surveyed and the report is available on request. This boat is presented in remarkable condition and with everything on board to make yourself at home and sail away without further expenses. Simply bring your rucksack, a box of food, and you are ready to go.

A WORD FROM THE OWNERS:

"Calista's story begins just 6 months after we met on a sailing site; we both were looking for someone to share the dream of sailing the South Pacific.  After a short time, we found the perfect boat for our purposes - Calista is designed with a balance of comfort and performance and she delivers!

Pat spent a full year refitting her, and in October, 2020, we set sail south to Mexico.  We spent nearly two years in the Sea of Cortez and on the Pacific Coast of Mexico enjoying the remarkable anchorages and snorkeling.  Yet, the South Pacific still beckoned so in April 2022, we made the 20-day journey to the Marquesas.  Since then, we have enjoyed innumerable anchorages, dives, and snorkels as we have made our way slowly through French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Samoa, and Tonga.  Along the way, we have made many friends and learned much about Polynesian cultures and communities.  It has literally been a dream come true.   Calista has served us well in these adventures, sturdily withstanding some heavy winds and seas at times, and supplying us with comforts in the remotest of areas.  She has truly been our "home away from home".   And yet it seems that all good things must come to an end.  We both are getting on in years so it is time for Calista to carry others to their dream destinations." Pat and Peggy, Fiji, July 2024.
